How to Set Up IPTV on Amazon Fire Stick in 2026

Why Use IPTV on Fire Stick?

The Amazon Fire Stick is one of the most popular streaming devices worldwide, and for good reason. It's affordable, portable, and supports a wide range of IPTV applications. With an IPTV subscription, you can turn your Fire Stick into a powerhouse that streams 9,000+ live channels, sports, movies, and on-demand content.

What You'll Need

  • Amazon Fire TV Stick (any model: Lite, 4K, 4K Max, or Fire TV Cube)
  • Stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps recommended for HD)
  • IPTV credentials — username, password, and server URL (get a free trial here)

Step 1: Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

Before installing any IPTV app, you need to allow installation from unknown sources:

  1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options
  2. Enable "Apps from Unknown Sources"
  3. If you don't see Developer Options, go to Settings → My Fire TV → About and click on your Fire Stick name 7 times

Step 2: Install the Downloader App

The Downloader app lets you sideload APK files onto your Fire Stick:

  1. From the Fire Stick home screen, go to Search
  2. Type "Downloader" and install the app by AFTVnews
  3. Open Downloader and allow it to access your files

Step 3: Install Your IPTV App

We recommend TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro for the best experience:

Option A: IPTV Smarters Pro

  1. Open Downloader
  2. Enter the URL for IPTV Smarters APK
  3. Download and install the app
  4. Open IPTV Smarters and choose "Login with Xtream Codes API"
  5. Enter your Username, Password, and Server URL

Option B: TiviMate

  1. Open Downloader and enter the TiviMate APK URL
  2. Install and open TiviMate
  3. Add a playlist using Xtream Codes login
  4. Enter your IPTV credentials

Step 4: Start Watching!

Once your credentials are entered, the app will load your channel list. You can now browse through Live TV, Movies, Series, and Sports. Use the Fire Stick remote to navigate between channels, set favorites, and access the EPG (Electronic Program Guide).

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Buffering? Try connecting to a 5GHz Wi-Fi network or use an Ethernet adapter
  • Channels not loading? Double-check your credentials and server URL
  • App crashing? Clear the app cache in Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications
